The iMac G5 has arrived

Well actually, it arrived yesterday and came complete with one horizontal line of dead pixels across the lower third of the screen.

So to be completely accurate, the iMac G5 replacement arrived today.

My small bedroom studio is now almost completely impassable, with the current computer and mixer in use, the new studio equipment in boxes, guitars, amps, keyboards, and all the junk from every other room in the house temporarily dumped in here to make the rest of the house look tidy.

Foolishly, I'm still thinking like a teenager - "Yippee, I've got a week's holiday to sort all this stuff out and get the new studio up and working". In reality, most of this holiday will be spent visiting friends and family and spending 'quality' time with Ruth and the kids.

Hey, there might even be time for a little late night passion!
